"It is a great opportunity to bring the community together and do an event that links other cultures like Italian (famous carnaval from Venice), Spanish Carnaval (pure joy), Latin-American countries (colour and dance) and I believe more countries come together to celebrate this special moment of the year to "break" with the routine, with the rules, to laugh with each other - because what is life without a sense of humour?" says organiser, ESS staff member and parent, Cristina Fernandez.
Entrance is ticketed (by donation, to PTA Projects). There will be food available to buy from Kike and Sergio, as well as a PTA stall serving drinks and cakes. A workshop to make a carnival mask will be offered. Live music in the School Hall. 'Best Attire' winner will win a prize on the night.
