Help us match-fund a potential grant of up to Euro100,000 from the philanthropic organisation Software Stiftung.
Like every nonprofit, Edinburgh Steiner School Trust depends on the philanthropic support of the people who care about our school and our mission. And like every independent school, tuition alone does not support everything we do to educate the children of our school. How You Can Play A Part
Edinburgh Steiner School has invested over £1million in our campus since 2017, with the help of those who care about our ethos and our school. Planning permission has been granted to build our Seedlings in the grounds of our C-listed villa, within the protected conservation area of Merchiston. Donors who have gifted £100 or more (unless they have preferred to remain anonymous) can be viewed in the golden box here: GSP Phase Three Donor Tree.
A gallery of Phases 1 (East Coach House) & 2 (West Coach House) can be viewed here. (News: East Coach House wins 'Honourable Mention in Architectural Design / Educational Building and Edinburgh Steiner School commended for conservation in the curriculum)
ESS offers an important alternative to mainstream education in Edinburgh. Phase Three will see two purpose-built Seedlings Playgroups in Edinholme Gardens for our youngest pupils. A monthly donation recognising our distinctive approach to learning would greatly help us to realise this ambitious Growing Spaces Project. We need to raise £0.5 million for work to begin:
